Guest dalehopper Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 Hi guys, i have an MPx200 on orange, but have a few problems 1. when my in-built memory gets nearly full i can not send text messages - does anyone get the same problem 2. when my phone has been switched off and then back on, my display and ringtone go back to default. finally does anyone know how to do a hard reset on this phone (e.g - back to manufactures settings) cheers Dale IT Techy -- 'My eyes aren't what they used to be'. So what did they used to be? ears, Wellington boots?
Guest mcwarre Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 Hi, Welcome to the site :D 1. Delete some of your messages (always install programmes to the SD card not the phone to keep mem free) 2. That should not happen 3. Click on the hard reset blue link in your original post
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 1. Standard problem, as mick said try and install all your apps on your storage card and not the phone. 2, this is because you are placing your ringtones in the main Windows directory, this folder gets rewritten on every startup. You need to place your ringtones in IPSMApplication DataSounds folder. To Hard Reset, Power off your phone then press and hold the Blue action button while powering on the phone, then follow the on screen instructions.
