New AS build causing error screens after sync

I recently downloaded the latest Active Sync build (v3.7.1 build 4034) and ever since have been getting two error screens following every sync. I get a white screen saying "MOUNTED1". The "OK" soft key is there, I press it and get another white screen saying "Opened1DB OID: (0x30000258)err: 0". Again, the "OK" button is an option, I press it and everything is back to normal. The sync was successful, but this is obviously not right. Samsung Level 2 tech was not helpful ("try a hard reset"... surprise... I had already done that anyway). Any of the experts here have a suggestion? Oh.. I also tried uninstalling AS and going back to the older 3.7.1 version, but that didn't help. Still had the problem. Thanks.
