DIAL UP SETUP for Mio 8390 - Pls Help

Hi tehcos! I am trying to connect to a Normal ISP (Not GPRS) using Mio 8390's dial-up settings, but the unit says "Unable to place call"! I tried everything as described in the manual but i can not get connected to a ISP using dial up connection! I want to use the Messenger and the Internet (No GPRS)! can any one help me how to do this! thanx guyz!
