mitac 8390 chinese problem

I just bought a mitac 8390 bought it boots up in chinese, how do i change this to english? your help is greatly appreciated

i read a post that stated fix it this way:

Start- then no 6 - then 9 - then 9 - pres action key - choose US English

ONE BIG PROBLEM THOUGH:

on my mitac it only has option for:

Start- then no 6 - then 9 - then 8, it doesn't have a 9 on the 8390

Try Start -> 6 -> 9 -> 4

The first box is for the language. Use your left/right key to look for English.
