Automatic profile switching

The SPV E200 will automatically switch profile when you plug in the headset, but is there any way to make it automatically switch profile when you put it on the usb cradle? - obviously you dont want it vibrating when it's definitely not in your pocket.

Any ideas?

Yep not seen this asked before, there is no cradle type

profile on the phone but it may be possible to create a new

cradle connector that simulates the car profile.

hi together,

i was asking that before but the question was stucked in the thread about automatic profile switcher. it would be cool to get a solution that changes the profile while the phone is in the docking station. i always wanted a profile switcher, that changes my profile between 9 and 6 to have a more quiet ringtone while i am in the office. switching profile when you dock the phone would be pretty much the same...

only problem i see at the moment: once the battery is fully charged active sync disconnects from the phone - that may lead to a switch from a future docking profile to normal too...

Such a mod would be hardware based. ie you would have to mod your cradle to supply a voltage to the correct pin.
