Message display prob and not the phantom thing

I don't know if this is a problem with windows or that it's an mpx200 but...

I just installed the smartOS theme and everything looks fine cept that the message count line can't be selected and isn't displayed correctly.

If I have the normal full layout set the line works fine. So I copied the messaging plugin line from the full.home.xml file to the SmartOS.home.xml file but it's still doing it. I'm new to the smartphone OS but am knowledgable with XP. If someone could let me know what file(s) set theme settings if there are any others.

Side note, Is there any way to change the icons on the homescreen without having to use something like reshacker to change the exe itself?

And is there a free program that lets you view pdfs too?

well apparently I'm blind cuz I didn't notice the sticky right above this untill after I posted. Tried it and it's fixed. But if there is any info on the other questions I had please let me know.
