Guest Dr Who Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 And thank goodness it is - after NTL cut me off for 2 weeks in a month I had to resort to using my E100 for collecting my email at home. Still wondering whether I should try and charge the GPRS costs back to NTL....
Guest kalinte Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 it is possible but then you'll be charged by your carrier by the minute just like when you're making a regular call. not gprs.
Guest Dr Who Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Is that true? My connection showed up with a nominal speed of 328kb/s (or something similar) which would have to be GPRS, non? The HSCD only runs at 28kb/s doesn't it? My web browsing was far faster using my E100 as a modem than my 56k modem.
