Guest drblow Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 Completely, no, and yes! In that order!
Guest midnight Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 COMPLETELY SAFE (under normal circumstances) It is possible for someone to make a homescreen that screws up the phone by doing some naughty reg editing, BUT, a hard reset will always fix it. (I can create a homescreen that will reset the phone if i wished, but cant actually damage the phone) However, there are NO homescreens made so far that do this, and all are completely safe to install and DO NOT screw up your phone in any way. Tips for Installing/Removing: Due to the complex nature of recent homescreens, the ones that tweak the extra screens (i know, my fault), its always best to only have one theme installed at a time. Before installing the next theme, remove the other with the Remove Programs app in Settings. Do not mess with any of the files on the phone, removing images from homescreens can cause the homescreen to not uninstall correctly.
