E200 Battery: Reaching 100% Charge

Hi, has anyone come across this behaviour, I got an e200 from Ebay last friday, first thing i did was to upgrade to the imate rom, played with it for a while in the cradle as well as out then left it to charge overnight. But I dont seem to be able to reach 100% charge if I turn the phone off when I charge it. The charge light start out as amber then goes green and turns off but when I turn the phone on im at 95%. But when in the cradle or charged with phone switched on it gets to 100% no problem. Battery life seems to be about 1 day atm playing eclipse, very few calls, no bluetooth but with sd card installed. I have tried a hard reset, clear storage and reapplying the imate rom. Any ideas on what I can try or is the battery faulty? Thanks

I don't totally understand what you're saying, but I can say I think that if the phone is off, when the battery is fully charged, the LED does not go green, instead it switches off.

thanks for replying, what happens is as you say, when the phone is off and has finished charging the led does go off but when I turn the phone on and check my battery level its at 95%. But if I charge it when the phone is on the led turns green and the battery level says 100%. Just seems unable to charge to 100% when the phone is off even after 17hrs

I would ignore that really, just the phone getting a bit confused I guess.
