Guest phdutton Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 I have a problem with my E200 which is becoming increasingly annoying. I, like most people I imagine, have my keypad locked while the phone is in my pocket, however about 50% of the time when I try to unlock the keypad it just crashes. I press the unlock button, but the screen asking me to press '#' never appears, and the phone has completely crashed, nothing works. The only way to get back to a working phone is to pull the battery off, then start the phone again. Anyone know a way to fix this problem? Thanks, Pete.
Guest badboy4life Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 Have you tried taking the SD card out when the phone stops responding? That generally works for me.
Guest phdutton Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Seems to sort it, thanks. Is this the dreaded 'SD Card bug' I've read alot about, but not, until now, experienced.

I get this same problem but thought it was supposed to have been solved with the latest ROM update which I have already done. Does anyone still get this problem?
Guest phdutton Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 Well, I get it all the time, but if you just remove the SD card it sorts it self, then just push it back in.

Bit of a pain really especially when you want to answer a phone call and you have the SD card plugged in. I wonder when they will ever fix this.. :P
Guest phdutton Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 Oh, I don't have any problems if the phone rings and its got it's keypad locked. I can answer it fine.
Guest RaxDraco Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 Do you have any problems with GPRS staying connected?
Guest phdutton Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 It disconects when I'm not using it, but thats how I want it. Don't know if this can be changed.
Guest RaxDraco Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 My problem is it staying connected when I am not using it. Its started running up large bills
Guest phdutton Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 Why are you running up bills? GPRS is charged by the megabyte, so if you are not using it, you won't be charged for it!
