Guest alphajoe Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 Ok I am on my 3rd MPX200 phone. I have downloaded the phm reg edit tool but I can't remember what variable needs to be changed for the Voice Mail pauses to work correctly. You know the issue where when you turn the phone off the pauses change to 00s. I'll print out the variable path this time and nail to the office wall promise. :D
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 11, 2004 Report Posted July 11, 2004 Press the left soft key and select pause.
Guest alphajoe Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 The pauses get changed to 00s after every reboot of the phone. THere is a setting that you can change in Reg Edit, but I don' t remember what the setting is.
Guest kailes Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 found it: this is the link to PHM Registry Editor... once you install to your pc, you'll have to copy the file named regedit.Stngr_ARM.CAB to your phone, then use the smartphone explorer to lauch the file and and install on your phone... instructions from dumbo on ATTWS Forums: ...First add "p" (pause) followed by password to your voice mail number. You can do this from Settings->Telephony->Call Options. You can add "p" by pressing "*" until "abc" (text mode) entry. Now do not turn your phone off yet. If you have PHMRegEdit then edit the following registry Key "RegOverridesSIM" and change the dword value from 0 to 1 (or 1 to 0 if I am mistaken). Just toggle the value. You can find this registry KEY as HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Microsoft->Vmail->RegOverridesSIM. Once you are done. Turn your phone off and then on to verify the FIX. Enjoy.
Guest damjanovic Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 how do I add p...I am having a hard time.
Guest kailes Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 just add the letter p and then your password
