Sound/Screens at Startup/Shutdown on SmartPhone 2003

Hi!

Last night I flashed my MPx200 to Smartphone 2003 and tried a lot of configuration...

I tried, as I've done it with SmartPhone 2002, RJV RegTweaks, but it seems not to work complete.

I was able to set the two screens for Startup/Shutdown, but I wasn't able to change the initial screen, with 2002 it was some kind of flower, now it is a character from South Park Cartoon ( cartman ?). Is this changeable? I find it extremely annoying!

Does anyone was successful while changing/disabling the Sound at the Startup/Shutdown? I'm not, seems to work not in the same way as 2002. :-(

You can only change the startup logo Cartman by hacking the ROM.

As for the startup sounds they are also in the rom but can be

turned off but not altered.

You can turn them off by altering the following registry value.

HKEY_CURRENT_USERControlPanelPoweOnWave

change the Value of the key ON to 0 instead of 1

I was afraid this would be so... these .img files, are they something like an image I can make with Norton Ghost from an Harddrive or for burning cd-roms and is there a tool which can be used for working with them? Seems to me there are a lot of files and scripts and so on inside which waits for configuring...

Click on Tweaks :D

Most of the time if you are brave or stupid enough you can always play with the reg to see what things do.

Remember though screwing with the reg can screw up your phone.
