Guest pyke Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 mods, sorry if i had to create a new post but this really has to be as visible as it can be. the warranty of my SAP expired last may 30th. last may 25, i brought my SAP to SMART because it wasn't making any sound, it's not ringing, no message alerts and it can't play MP3s. i got it back last jun 8 and the sound was ok already. but the problem is, it wasnt syncing wih my pc.the pc cant detect the sap anymore.i brought it back the next day.smart took it again and provided me with a service unit.just last week, i received a quotation from smart stating that i will be charged 17k for the board dahil out of warranty na and they are waiting for my approval. how can that be?am i supposed to be billed for a defect that i didn't make?my phone started not to sync right after i got it from them.sabi ng brightpoint, imposible daw sila na ang nakasira caused they "JUST FLASHED IT USING AN SD CARD" and they didn't touch the pins of the serial port. but my point is, wala sa akin yung phone nung nasira, NASA KANILA.my question is, is it possible to flash the phone the way they say, they did or niloloko lang ako nung taga brightpoint just to wash their hands offf the problem?guys, i need your opinions, please.

So maski ano pwede nilang sabihin....pwedeng i-deny ng BP yan at wala tayong laban. Siguro ang pwede mo lang magawa, ipaglaban mo sa Smart na nadagdagan ng sira phone mo the day you got your phone back from them, pagdating mo sa bahay galing sa Smart. Di ba binalik mo naman the next day June 9? Sabihin mo nalang na nung pinagawa mo yan, walang ganun na sira. Pero Im sure may isasagot sila sayo nyan. Talo ka pa rin. Subukan mo muna bawiin phone mo....kung problem lang ay hindi mag-sync, hindi kaya kelangan mo lang re-install AS? Nasubukan mo mag-sync sa ibang PC? Di ba may mga SAP na ganon problema? hindi makasync? Pero reinstall lang solution? Pero kung ayaw parin, ask ka sa mga lawyer friends mo tungkol sa ganong contract issues :D Better yet, kung okay lang sayo, kuha ka nalang nung promo ngayon ng Smart...Voyager at no cost pa. Yun nga lang doble na account mo, di mo pa mabenta SAP mo pambayad man lang ng pre-termination ng luma mong account. Hehe sorry pre wala masyadong maitulong itong post ko. :D
Guest dinoalbert Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 pero pre kung ang charge ng Smart sayo ay 17K...sobrang malaki naman yata yan? Pwede ka ng bumili ng bago nyan. Kung 17K pambayad mo lang sa repair....I suggest na ipa-terminate mo nalang yung account mo ngayon for a fee of P10K or P7K.....mas makamura ka pa.
Guest pyke Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 pero pare, i never had a problem with syncing before i brought the phone to them.kaya obviously, sila ang nakasira at ayaw lang nilang aminin.kung hindi talaga nila papanagutan ang pagsira nila sa phone ko, hindi ko na isosoli yung service unit na in-issue nila sa akin.ano nga ba ang mangyayari pag hindi ko sinoli yung service unit?

Guest pyke Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 ya,may pinirmahan ako.smart never provides a service unit if u r beyond your waranty already.but the wireless center provided me with one which means they considered it a back job.makitid lang talaga utak ng BP.i won't let them get away with this.

Ok sana pare kung noong binalik sayo ng Smart (June 8 ), na demo nila kasama pati yung pag sync at hindi lang yung rineklamo mo sakanila. Parang checklist hindi lang ng mga gasgas at tuklap sa unit kundi pati yung 'basics' sa phone like battery charging or kung intact pa ba ang async connection etc.

Guest kalinte Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 write a letter to smart (via email sa website nila) thats where i course my complints as well and it never fails. my mole at smart told me that they are taking seriously thoses emails.... would you believe response time is 24 hours. you got nothing to lose pero sa BP pa rin kasi ang balik mo. good luck
