Guest moppet52 Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 I just bought a Sansdisk 512MB SD card. I insert the card, and the phone does not recognize (I think). I thought it was supposed to automatically ask if it should be formatted. How can I check or move any items to the SD card?
Guest TANKERx Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 If its a new card, is it possible that it's already formatted?
Guest [flicker] Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Try inserting the card while the phone's off then turn it back on again. I've found that if you swap cards(generally anything bigger than 32MB) whilst the phone is turned on it will not recognise that it has been inserted. So yeah, try that. Best of luck.

Best of luck. i have a 32Mb and 128Mb SD card. and i have no problems whatsoever hot swopping between them. maybe it might just be the brand of the SD card you have which is not 100% compatible with the MPx200? i had a similar problem when i brought an 128Mb SD card from Jessops. so i refunded it and brought a non-branded one which seemed to worked much better and more reliable.
Guest hberndt Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 I have the same problem with a 512MB Thoshiba SD Card: - insert the orginal 32MB -> it's recognized online - insert the the 512MB -> it's not recognized online - boot with the the 512MB -> it's recognized and full usable
