Guest kevlar Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 As above. This site and all pages within used to load almost instantly for me, now it seems to be running very slowely. Has anyone else noticed this or is the problem my end. Kevlar
Guest Disco Stu Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 I think it's the site. I've just bought a new home PC and quite often get the "Not Responding" screen. Was intending to go into Chat to ask advice as with broadband & 644 SD DDR RAM (or whatever) I didn't think the problem would be at my end. Every other site is fast as.. Neither is it browser-related as I have the same problems with AOL, IE & Firefox. It's intermittant though and doesn't seem to relate to the number of users logged in :?
Guest Simon Desser Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 It's been intermittently painfully slow for me too. Both at home and at work. All other sites are fine, so it must be a problem with the Mighty Mod :D
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 We're working on it, watch this space... P
Guest pd.ryder Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Phew! I thought it was me and my dial-up.....
Guest vluther Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 how is it now ? I know it's the middle of the night, but I seem to have fixed one of the bigger bottlenecks, more improvements on the way.
Guest pd.ryder Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Whizzing along nicely now. Thanks very much!!!
Guest Disco Stu Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 Yep, that seems to back to peak condition. I even got a Search to work first time  :D
Guest kevlar Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 yep, it's definately a lot faster. Good work guys Kevlar ps, what was the cause of the slow down? ( please keep it simple! :D )
