Guest Cybertronic Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Hi there :D I have a problem with my Orange E200 where when WMP finishes the songs early :?, it doesn't play all the way to the end :x I tried Betaplayer, it seems to be fine :? Anyone had this problem before? Annoying
Guest jasonstewart Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Yes I am getting it all the time on my e200, sometimes it will finish all the way through and other times it won't. I am playing whole albums in one mp3 rather than just single songs. But it also happens in betaplayer, it's not a memory problem as far as I know. J
Guest Brody Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 I noticed a three minute song finishing one minute in today, very odd!
Guest drblow Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 If you are playing them from the storage card then it could be linked to the SD card 'forgetting' issue. This has happened to me quite alot, and if I re-insert the card, sometimes it'll fix it, sometimes it wont.
Guest Brody Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 True although i'd have thought it would stop playing everything in this case, not skip to the next track?
Guest SMYKUL Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 I have had this problem before with regular WMP for PC and it turned out to be that i had got crossfade on and if i was playing a song which used all my audio channels the thing errored and either repeated the end twice or cut it off. i dont have a E200 so i dont know if this is an option but if it is, try turning it off.
Guest Brody Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 No crossfade in the Smartphone's Windows Media Player...
Guest sparkisgti Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 i get this as well from time 2 time.. only recently started as well
Guest salavat Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Sometimes to WMP just shuts down, sometimes it skips, sometimes it skips to the next track, but it does one of the above without a fail within 1/2 hour period (my ride home). It only started happening after the new i-mate smartphone 2 update. I have i-mate smartphone 2 and a 64MB MMC card.
Guest Cybertronic Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 I've had a problem where the music kept stuttering and WMP said it was buffering, yet it took so long, just had to close it :x
Guest Brody Posted July 15, 2004 Report Posted July 15, 2004 Buffering? Were you accessing local content or web content?
