Guest feck_on_a_stick Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Just bought myself a Sandisk 512MB card off ebuyer and also one of the card readers that they offer when purchased along with the card. Stuck a 187MB mpg on it and it plays no problems, however if i take the card out and put it back in the reader, then put a dozen mp3's on it, put the card back into my phone again and try to open either Windows Media or PocketTV neither will open. I have tried closing all apps using SP Task Manager Free Mem programme and then opened Smart Explorer. I can see the files on the card ok but they just wont open. The movie that did work before when it was the only thing on the card now doesnt work after I put anything else on the card.......I get an error when opening PocketTV that says this does not look like an MPEG-1 movie file. Whats goin on? :D If I put the card back in the reader it says the file is corrupt or unreadable and can crash the computer. The only time I can get everything to work is to format the card on my mobile, then add everything at the same time. Any ideas guys?
Guest Brody Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 Very odd! Not heard of this one before, sorry i can't be of more help! :?

Guest efjay Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Hi, I recently bought a Sandisk 512mb card from ebuyer as well and had a similar problem, I copied a 215mb avi file to the card using a reader and put it in my E200, first few times was able to read it ok but after a few more copies the card was not being found in explorer on the phone, trying to format on my pc gave an error "windows unable to format", and the card kept showing 2.03mb used but no files or folders were showing. Ive sent it back for a refund and will try a transcend card which seems to have worked for a few people here, site is www.offtek.co.uk
Guest Brody Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 I have a Sandisk 512MB SD card and other than the E200 SD card bug i have had no problems with the card itself.
