Guest RobPowell Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 I'd like to keep MSN messenger on a lot. I don't chat much but it'd be good to see my friends come online whilst I work and maybe message a little. What cost would it be to leave messenger on for 8 hours if no-one messaged, and what kinda cost if you're chatting a lot?? I have no idea....
Guest RobPowell Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 BTW whenever I send a lmessage, the last word sent is always repeated next line when you press the next letter key (if that makes sense) is that a known bug??
Guest _Drake_ Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 Someone from another forum tested it and he found out that when he left msn on the whole day (12 hours) he had used 0.30 mb (including sending messages ect) the best way to us as little bandwidth is to add only few contacts (bandwidth wil be used when a persons signs in) so add a lot of persons but only put those in the contact list of which you often speak too.
