battery problem with my e200 on orange, or is it?

having had my e200 for about 3 weeks, i noticed that the battery life is nowhere near as good as my original spv, battery hardly lasts more than a day!!!!!!

i wrote this off as bein that i am using it more than my previous spv cos of the 'new phone, lets play with it' usage, but a couple of days ago i was on holiday with no electric sockets to charge it up apart from leave it with the site shop for a pound, i collected it and it was totally dead, wont turn on, wont show charging status (no orange light), since returning from hols i left it on charge overnight and still nothing, have left battery off for a couple of hours and still nothing!!!!

do anyone have any ideas before i start ripping into orange for sending out dodgy batteries?????

apart from that problem, i love my e200, sooooo much better than my spv, all the bugs my spv had were all sorted for e200

edit: think i have found the problem, i used an orange car charger to charge it up, and this killed the battery, it was on the red light an i plugged it into charger, then i suppose it just pulled the guts out of my battery :cry:

went to the orange shop and they tested the phone with a spare battery, i was shocked to see they had a spare battery seein as they havent had any 200's for months, but he tried it in the back of the shop so i am not trusting that, am gonna go up to my friends house later an try his battery, but the 'orange here to help' guy said that the phone is totally knackered an i will have to get it replaced by orange. but the same guy also told me i had to send off my previous spv cos it locked on start screen, i came on here an downloaded the lastest upgrade at the time, but i dont think i have been so lucky this time, guess my car chrager has somehow blown it? or the shop on the site where i was staying have? either way its back to my buggy, scratched, and really good battery :D spv

just taken delivery of a brand new not reconditioned e200, so i got a whole load of spare stuff like a 32 meg sd, hands free, cradle. so im gonna sell it on ebay, basically everythin bar the charger an handset, take my hat off to orange for a change for bein so quick! :D
