Guest Brody Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 OK so its hardly the groundbreaking application you've all been waiting for (at least we're not charging for it!) but here's a little lottery number generator program I've knocked up whilst learning C#. Enjoy! Its a .NET application so its Windows Mobile 2003 onwards only i'm afraid. Click Here for the download page! :D14-07-04-MSMNLottery.gif
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Nice one Brody. :D Will your app work on SP2002? Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest Brody Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 First post updated, its a .NET application so its Windows Mobile 2003 onwards i'm afraid.
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Thanks Brody. :D Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest Brody Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Just remember to share the wealth people! :D
Guest stevo_knuckles Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Nice app Brody. Very handy seeing as I only ever tend to do Lucky dips on the Lottery. I must admit though I pressed the button it generated 1 number then I sat and waited for the next. Didn't realise you had to press the generate button 6 times
Guest Brody Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 I made it generate a new number each time you click "Make Me Rich" to delay the result, all you have to do is read them out whilst they are picked like the real draw! :D
Guest Toyota-F1.com Posted July 15, 2004 Report Posted July 15, 2004 I've seen this somewhere else before, I don't know if I actually downloaded itr off the National Lottery, but I've got it on my phone.
Guest Brody Posted July 15, 2004 Report Posted July 15, 2004 Not this one... I wrote it in the early hours of Wednesday morning! :P
Guest gravity Posted July 16, 2004 Report Posted July 16, 2004 The only useful applicaton for smartphone. And its free!
Guest Brody Posted July 16, 2004 Report Posted July 16, 2004 LOL! Looks like someone's hit the jackpot using it but i've had no PM offering a cut :D :P
Guest Brody Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 Gravity, where are you based? UK? If so thats a tenner! :P I did 2 lines and got 1 number :D
Guest Brody Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 Thanks to the wonder of the IRC Smartphone channel I am now confident in the knowledge that the New Zealand lottery requires 3 numbers and the bonus ball for a minimum prize!
