Guest TANKERx Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Just bored and though I'd ask a question.....
Guest AvWijk Posted July 16, 2004 Report Posted July 16, 2004 I'm happy here with 2003. It gives my much more: - Cleartype, plain text looks georgous - Built-in explorer and task-manager - .NET Compact framework, capable of self-made and other special .NET apps - WMA ringtones, they're better than mp3 ringtones! 8) - It looks like my MPx200 has a better battery life - DivX and games just as good as it ment to be. The only problem that I have is a volume issue, and the startup/shutdown sound is very loud.
Guest TANKERx Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 I couldn't be having all the problems with GPRS connectivity being unstable so I've just gone back to 2K2. It's a shame because I loved ClearType and some of the other stuff, but I will make do with this for now unless someone comes up with another option.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 Had a strange thing happen since installing 2003, my Outlook calender has become completly screwed with repeated appointments jumbled up and unusable. Tookme a while to get it sorted but now it's ok again. This has to be related to the update as my ppc is still ok and was last synced just before running the update. The otherthing I miss is poor T9 the 2002 worked well and also the flip image is no longer accessable to be customised (I've tried adding a new key in the reg but no joy) None of the above means that the problems are due to the hack but rather could be down to the way 2003 has been created.
