Guest macpegg.uk Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 A service plan migration policy that will place restrictions on which service plans PAYM Consumer and Small Business customers can migrate to. This policy should be enforced during the first 6 months of initial connection/registration. The policy applies to all new personal and small business customers who join orange after 03/06/2004. Customers joining before this date are not affected The policy will be communicated to customers and dealers from 1st June. On 8th July a screen prompt was added to CSS to help you enforce the policy when completing a service plan change. How does it work? The following rules will apply ONLY to New PAYM Consumer and Small Business connections (not applicable to customers upgrading handsets). This policy will apply to new customers who connect to Orange from 3rd June 2004 and will not be applied retrospectively to customers who joined prior to this date. Customers will not be able to move to a service plan with a lower price point in the first 6 months of their contract. Upward migrations and migrations to equivalent service plans will still be permitted once per month, providing the customer notifies Orange 10 days prior to their next bill date. Continue to follow the ‘high value’ plan policy where applicable. This policy will cover connections to all PAYM service plans including OVP This policy applies to Talkshare leaders, however sharers are excluded Updates to the networks T’s & C’s have been made..
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted July 14, 2004 Report Posted July 14, 2004 Sigh, not surprising I suppose... P
Guest macpegg.uk Posted July 15, 2004 Report Posted July 15, 2004 Yep. bit of a bugga init.... Buisness i suppose.
Guest mcwarre Posted July 15, 2004 Report Posted July 15, 2004 Doesn't apply to upgrades........................
Guest chucky.egg Posted July 15, 2004 Report Posted July 15, 2004 Can anyone explain how it will apply to me? I keep the same customer account going, but often get new subscriptions to get "cheap" handsets. Because I'm an existing customer am I exempt? Or is each new subscription (new contract) treated as a "new customer"?
Guest macpegg.uk Posted July 15, 2004 Report Posted July 15, 2004 nthis only applies to new contract customers, not upgrades, unless done through Disconnections (retentions), as they may offer deals if you adhere to there terms, you should be fine. if its cheap h`sets, usally ones you would get on talk time 30, i really wouldn`t worry.
