Guest jpearn Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 Hi, Will you include Winamp control again in any future releases ?? Thanks Jason.
Guest Dumdidum Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 Hm, we are considering this, but actually we integrated a player into the server and are not remotly remoting WMP... that's better to control... But we will surely implent a function to import Winamp-Playlists... Sven
Guest bigdan Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 When I start the server is says "ERROR, cant write to registry"? Why cant i get it to work?
Guest zeta101 Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 i had this message come up the first time i tried the prog, and then i couldnt get the pc side prog to load up, i posted it on your forum, i have win2k incase you need to know.
Guest ultimasnake Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 I get the same error but the app runs and after the first run it works without the error.. Though this app misses something I just neeeeed to have for my playlisting, Add directory. I have got all my music in category folders with category folders per artist and sometimes even per cd... that adding 1000+ songs one by one is really unreasonable :). Also when adding a bigger list of files i got the error that i had to add less files at a time? that isn't much goodo ey.. Though i hoped it would just controll an Windows media player instance or something instead of it's own. since i already have a nice set playlist and all :P

WM9 take bleeding ages do anything on my pc with an ATA133 connection, let alone a limp little bluetooth one. Although if you want no feedback to the phone, you could just use normal PC control software.
Guest bigdan Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 I have got it working now, it was because i only had w.media player 8 (even though w.media player said there was no available updates) I downloaded v9 from Microsoft and now it works. Very impressive tool indeed! Useful for watching DVD's too! Not just music.
Guest glynton Posted October 26, 2004 Report Posted October 26, 2004 Can you import playlists from WMP?
