Guest x2c4u Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 hi all! im plannin to buy 256MB SANDISK SECURE DIGITAL SD Memory Card for my Qtek 7070. im curious know whether this brand is any good? and what does secure digital means? does all sd card needs to have secure digital on their card? is this some kind of standard? TIA
Guest x2c4u Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 ah anyhow too late. i have baught it. the auction on ebay just ended. baught it for 80 bucks (AUS). not sure whether that is a bargain. now i cant wait to install those apps and games i wanted :P Also, im not quite sure how things works with sd card. i remember reading some thread here before that talked about the things that you should store it on ur sd? if u remember the threads can u pls point that to me. TIA
Guest martin Posted July 17, 2004 Report Posted July 17, 2004 It is recommended to store EVERYTHING possible on the SD card. If you have have been storing programs and ringtones to the phone memory then I would delete them when you get the SD card. I don't store anything on the phone itself (except maybe homescreens) so there is plenty of room for stored SMS, MMS, email attachments, IE historys etc and so far I have had very little problems with the phone crashing or stalling :wink: I also have a sandisk 256MB and it's been great.
