2002 Homscreen plugin on 2003??

Hi,

I got a problem: I developed a homescreen plugin basing upon the helloplug sample of the 2002 SDK. this works fine, it worked in the emulaotr and also on 2002 devices. but it does not on 2003.

it keeps telling me that there's no homescreen layout found, I shall install valid homescreen layouts.

I also tried to

just insert the

<plugin clsid="{30DF3430-0266-11cf-BAA6-00AA003E0EED}">


    </plugin>

into a home.xml that works on my 2003 device, but just when I do this it displays me the error.

I tried it also with the unchanged sample hellplug. the same result. seems something's wrong with the dll, cause it registered correctly with the correct CLSID and the correct path and filename.

what is different on 2003, what do I need to change?

I found out. you need to reboot the device in order to recognize the newly registered classid. :roll: I'm sorry for asking such a question.

2002 and 2003 take the same procedure of plugin handling.
