Guest paulmottley Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 Am I being really daft here or is this the same phone but on different networks??? Would prefer to stay on Orange but work has released new sftware that I must use and they have it on a XDA2. If it's the same then I can just run it on the M1000 ? Cheers Paul
Guest squall Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 They are the same phone, only hte m1000 has round buttons. Orange havent made the m1000 available to everyone, you will struggle to get one if your not on a business tarrif
Guest paulmottley Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 They were going to give us the XDA's anyway. As long as the software will run on the SPV version then I'd rather opt for that one. I'm pretty sure they will have some deal in place to get the XDA's though as they have to supply 600 of us.
Guest morpheus2702 Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 Apparently the XDA is much better integrated to O2 services that the M1000.
Guest pd.ryder Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 XDA II is O2 only - but a quick SIM unlock and it'll do any network. I know a man who has the knack..... EDIT: Don't follow the auto link above - that's for the E100.
Guest amo Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 The M1000 is now fully launched for all customers, business and none business and will be available from Direct sales or Orange Retail. Prices typlically £249.99 subject to tariff.
