for those who have flashed the mpx200 with windows 2003.....

Out of curiosity i tried another network sim and it worked! so the conclusion i came to is that if you flash with the 2003 rom, it not only becomes application unlocked but also network unlocked! try it.............

if this is true it would be interesting to see what would happen if you flash back to the 2002 rom, if the phone stays networked unlocked or not

I tried a Vodafone card in my 2002 phone (which was 2003) and it is Network locked.

After Flashing My Orange Mpx200 with wm2003 I tried an O2 sim and it was still Locked :? You sure your phone wasn't unlocked before you flashed it with wm2003 ???

I agree. I sim unlocked mine prior to flashing, and after flashing, it was still sim unlocked. Mine was an AT&T, so it was already app unlocked. 2003 is awesome. Fixed numerous problems. Flash all 3 img files to ensure max capability.
