Guest delgado Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 I have read this article on msmobiles: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All you wanted to know but were afraid to ask about Smartphone 2003 operating system October 10, 2003 [MS Smartphone] Microsoft smartphones, that are currently available on the market are running "Smartphone 2002" operating system, but already next month (November 2003) first smartphones powered by new version of this system - "Smartphone 2003" will be released. This new system brings many improvements and it is worth knowing already now, while taking buying decisions, what improvements are these! We provide hereby the latest information from Microsoft about list of features of Smartphone 2003 operating system. For some people these improvements may seem insignificant (in this case buying Smartphone 2002 powered phone is enough), but for others they may be simply critical (in this case one should wait for the phone that is powered by Smartphone 2003 or that is guaranteed to be upgradable to this new system). Are you sure that there isn't an mms client for WM2003 ???
Guest chudy Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 i've looked around a bunch of places and just cant seem to be able to find any smartphone MMS clients.... the only one i'm aware of is jMMS but its only available builtin to mitac 8390... supposedly the WM2003 firmware was meant for ATT and i find it rather hard to believe they didnt want to put in an MMS client into the firmware, wether builtin microsoft or 3rd party... i would love to find out if there is anyway to add an MMS client for WM2003...thats the only component i am missing in the new firmware
