Guest master_f Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 Today i dropped my lovely E200 at the beach and I therefore brought half of the sand on the beach home with me inside the phone. I don't think I can trick the service shop into cleaning it for me on the 2 year warranty. Since I'm a poor student I'll just have to take matters into my own hands. Some of the keys aren't working properly anymore and the memorycard is loosing connection all the time. So how do i take the phone apart and clean it without breaking it? I mean it's not a simple nokia with a screw in every corner. Can anyone give me a guide or some good hints i would be very happy.
Guest nedge2k Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 I've already written a guide on this...search the E200 forum.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 The loose SD connection is a software bug btw, not hardware... :P
Guest master_f Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 Hey Nedge2k thats right! :P Thnx And to you Monolithix; I do know about that all to common error and i have that one too but what I'm talking about here is that the SD card simply falls out of the phone. But now the phone is cracked open I'll lay my dirty fingers on it and try to heal it.
