Hi,

As far as I am aware you cannot flash from the SD card. At least I have not heard of a way to this yet with a smartphone.

Although if anyone out there knows otherwise, please enlighten me :P

if this is the xda-developers application, to update using an sdcard, you'll have already found out it does not work. flashing must be done using the pc side update applications as provided by your operator (over usb/serial)

There was ways to flash using an sdcard for the spv original, but this was disabled/prevented with later bootloaders. (and it killed a few phones when used incorrectly or with a poor quality card).

You will have to find a friend with a usb connection to update your phone - sorry

ok we need more info, what model? e200/spv/e100, what 'flavour' (branding on phone) - orange/qtek/imate/smart?

Then the rom version you already have on the phone , and the rom version you want to put on the phone.

(btw this forum has a 'useful' post reply time that is very low, but you posted a 2.25 am (gmt) your first question, and complained of a lack of replies within 12 hours.. some things take time to get to..!
