Anyone have static interference when using headset?

I am using the standard headset which came with the phone. Everytime i use it there is static which comes on and off in the background like when you place the phone near a speaker. anyone knows how to fix this?

I've not experienced the problem myself, but it could be that you're getting RF feedback from the phone itself. Does altering the position/orientation of the headset lead make any difference? You could try using a toroidal choke (ask a good electrician for details) to stop it, or try winding a couple of turns around a pen and passing the lead through the middle (after you take the pen out obviously:lol: )
