Guest namiran Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 i cant get this app to work, disco stu, did you replace the T9AW.UDB with a new one from this app? i tried to do that and then restart but i still dont get the words :P
Guest Disco Stu Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 The way to do it, is open the desktop agent. Then Open file from phone. Now edit your list. Then save to phone and for good measure also save the file (msT9.udb) on your PC. I don't know where you got T9AW.UDB from :? Sometimes it seems to forget my list, so I just reload the file saved on my PC. Hope this helps :P
Guest namiran Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 hey! thanx for the tip but i dont know where to find mst9 that you say you have...i remember that was the name of the storage file on my qtek 7070 (orange spv e100) but on my e200 with the imate rom the only .UDB file i can find is "StorageApplication DataT9AW.UDB" ? is this not right or what am i doing wrong? =(
Guest Disco Stu Posted July 24, 2004 Report Posted July 24, 2004 I think you need to start from scratch. So you "Open from Smartphone" then add / delete your words, then Save to Smartphone. As a back-up, then save as...somewhere like My Documents on your PC. The file can be found in Application Data System on the phone. As I said above, sometimes it seems to forget my new words but generally it does. When I first started I didn't modify an existing file, just loaded whatever was on the phone at the time. Am I making sense here ?
Guest gothi Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 Unfortuatly only the msT9.udb file format is currently supported. I recently moved and development halted but I intend to pick up where I left off, implement the two user modes and fix the range check errors that pop up from time to time. When I've done that I hope to implement support for other T9 user dictionarys :-) Posted from my SmartPhone!
