Guest RobPowell Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 okay I'm trying to copy a 131mb file onto my SD card. Problem being, is that when it's 1/3 to 1/2 way there it restarts. Why is this happening and is there anything I can do to help it along? I walk away from the PC when it happens so nothing is running :P
Guest KingDaddy Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 I had the same behavior on mine. Even though it looked like it restarted, it actually didn't and finished just fine. As long as there are no errors, let it go. I bought a USB card reader to speed up transfers. I hightly recommend them!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 Biggest problem with Activsync, it has a habit of timing out. As above a card resder is always worth getting for faster downloading to card. Also make sure you have the latest version of activsync.
