Guest dobby_gobby_man Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 i just want to ask if there is any application that you can RECORD your conversation with someone using of course your SAP (this during Call) thank you very much
Guest pwest13 Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 Not that i know of, i heard that they wouldn't include this in Smartphones for a while as they have to get over technocalities (i spell that rite?) as it is illegal or to record conversations. Westy
Guest MorphFx Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 It shouldn't be that hard for the hardware/software designers to add this to smartphones. Basically copying the digital audio streams into a file for playback later should be a easy peasy lemon squeazy! Legally in the UK, I believe all they would need to do is play a quick prompt before commencing the call that warns the other party that the call may be being recorded! Some countries require a beeping noise throughout the duration of the call, and there maybe other countries that require other things. I reckon there is a darker reason that the big companies don't want the general public to record calls, either its for their own sakes or maybe they are thinking of making it a chargebale service in the future (the latter more likely).
Guest mrchrisdavies Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 The last two Nokias I've had, have had this option!! No prompt or anything. It worked with the voice/notes/memo recorder, during phone calls.
Guest MorphFx Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 I wonder if they have added the feature to the C500 ? Shame on them if they haven't, if Nokia can do it I am sure Windows Mobile platform should be able to do it!
Guest dobby_gobby_man Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 i hope someone will make an application about this one. coz i really need it. heheheh.
