Mio 8390 Bluetooth

Hey all, just bin thinkin about 8390 Bluetooth capability, im a lil confused.

In settings there is a bluetooth section, it says "no hardware installed" but has the capability of being turned on/off/discoverable.

Now im thinking maybe Mitac were thinking of installin Bluetooth on the phone, last mintue ditch or something to keep down price? But i got worried cos Bluetooth is the future of gaming i dont wanna have to ditch this great phone when multiplayers via BT come out.

What exactly is bluetooth? What does it involve, any1 know? not possible for us devoted Mio 8390 fans to form so sort of BT ? Sounds farfetched i know but if we oculd in somne way, i think this phone would be perfect.

My understanding of that, is that the rom, ie windows mobile 2003 has got the bluettoh option on it. And its upto the hardware manufactures to provide the hardware for. so basically the software is in the rom, but there is no hardware on the phone..

Ahh, yeah that would make sense.

Looks like us 8390 fans r gonna get left behind in the BT gaming world.
