Rom update 2.7.1.1 or Orange 2.6.1.3

I'm quite keen to get the update to extend battery life for my E200, but the Orange website states if I have ver. 2.6.1.3 then I'm up to date, but checking settings/about on my phone my ROM version appears to be 2.7.1.1 which indicates to me my version is even more current than the one offered by Orange.

Can anyone help me identify if I have the latest ROM version?

Never seen that ROM version before, must be new. Don't even try using the orange update, since it will probably downgrade your phone and could leave you with an expensive paperweight!

I have, yes, but the only downloads were something called 'soft keys' and the email wizard; 'wiz-something.

Wow. Seems you got your new E200 with the latest rom preinstalled, a week or so before the update came out.

I see no advantage in your using Orange 2.6.1.3. If you did downgrade to it I suggest updating again.
