Has anyone gotten mMode to work after installing Wm2003? I keep getting an error "Verify you dialup or proxy settings are correct..."

I've tried the method on the att knowledge base re the settings, and I can't seem to get the WAP connection setting changed to AWS GPRS, but everything else works, and I'm generally getting internet and data connection... Any thoughts?

Thanks.

I'm able to get internet access, use places like yahoo!, wherever, but I can't get on the mmode site.

The reason I may care, and still not sure if I do, is because there doesn't seem to be much in the way of Portal sites out their for smartphones. Yahoo is OK, but I thought mmode might be a good resource.

Any other thoughts out there?

Ok I also did the data conection settings from what I was told to do, and I keep getting Unable to connect. The URL http://home/ doesn't work. So what am I doing wrong.

Also all the setups give me settigns ofr MMS on the mpx200 for AT&T, am I able to setup MMS on my phone? It's originally AT&T

if you go to the connections option in IE, is the auto detect settings box checked? I think it needs to be in order for it to work

ATT does not support MMS on MPX200, and the WM2003 does not seem to have the mMode stuff. You can go to AWS and go to their support section for your phone and run the Over the Air (OTA) installer(s) to setup just about anything. Hope that helps

I got it working. I now have mMode working. The instructions said to only delete the O2 connections in Data Connections and that's what I did, but I just went ahead deleted them all and just put in AWS GPRS and mMode proxy. And it now works.

thank!

The basic issue is the Flash wipes out the mMode plugins that were in the original ROM. The AWS GPRS settings and all that will be fine. But the AWS 5 Icon Homescreen and the related plugins will be lost. RJ plugins will give you some satisfaction and maybe more options.
