Reverted back to 2002 ROM. German menus?

OK. I reverted back to the 2002 German Rom found at the broadchannelny.com site. I was able to fat finger my way through the menus and select English. I powered the phone off and on after doing that. Most of the menus now come up in English. But there are a few yet that don't.

Is anyone else having this problem? If not, can you tell me what I might have done wrong?
