Guest tedya Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 I want to buy one but do not know what is good. Any advice?
Guest dapunk Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 I am using the one that came with the phone. Seems good to me. Of course if you were going to change i would do the alteration in that one thread about putting new earbuds on the existing one. only a few bucks at radio shack and you are stylin 8)
Guest gavboy Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 I'm using the ones I got with the phone too. However, I get a really annoying popping sound when I'm listening with them. really annoying. Anyone elase had this?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 Unfortunately the moto headphones are the only ones that will work due to a non-standard pinouts on the phone, unless you modify an adaptor or as mentioned above rewire another set of headphones.
Guest jcjdoss Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 I also am using the moto set. They are actually quite good.
Guest tedya Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 I was just wondering what you all were using because mine did not come with the stereo headset. I bought it new and unlocked on ebay but a stereo headset was not included in the listing. Thanks for your responses.
Guest mcdannej Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 I purchased an adapter from an online store that has worked great. It allows you to use any regular headphones, and different ones, depending on your need. Anything from the giant can't hear anyone else and don't want to headphones, to small pillow speakers. Anyway, Here's the link http://www.pocketpctechs.com/detail.asp?Pr...t_ID=PPCPADPT09
Guest catlas Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 I'm using the skullcandy wraparound ones. They come with two jacks 3.5mm & 2.5mm and a mic, so you can still use it as a hands free kit. Nice bass response compared to the crappy ones you get from moto - you can actually hear your music properly. Plus you can also plug your mp3/ipod/whatever into them too http://www.skullcandy.com
Guest Toe Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 I'm currently looking into some new ones from the standard moto ones. The moto ones i think are great quality to some included headsets i've seen with phones and cd players and the such, however recently there has been a wire connection problem or something where if the cord is bent a particular way the left channel drops out. So I nicked my mothers headset :D She never uses it anyway that and living 200kms away from my parents means that she won't be getting it back anytime soon >:P
