o2 Xphone locks up

Hi,

I have just bought a brand new o2 Xphone only to find that probably 5 - 10 times a day it locks up and I have to remove the battery and put it back in to reset it. Does anyone have any idea's on how to fix this?

Only fixed by leaving the backlight on permanently - at a cost of the battery draining real quick!

Trip, what do you mean locks up? You cannot press the on/off button to shut down the phone right?
