Guest GoMatt Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 I have a Motorola MPx-200 for about a year now, bought it when it just came out in the US. I love the phone, and mostly the Windows OS. I will never buy another phone without it. Should I buy an E100 or E200 off eBay and sell the MPx200? I really like the new E200 but have never held one. Thanks, Matt Also, another reason would be a better antenna in a E200 than the Mpx200.
Guest gravity Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 Sure get an E200, it's crappier than an MPx200 but if you really want a camera and bluetooth, get an E200. On the other hand, if you wants a kickass smartphone, get a MPx220, I don't care what midnight tells you, it looks sexy.
Guest robt Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 Have you upgraded your MPX to WM2003? Its at least as good as an E200, so hardly an upgrade. If you really want to go the next generation, like gravity says its got to be the MPX220.

The thread with the update doesn't have the file right now. Thanks, Matt
Guest Pondrew Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 ...its got to be the MPX220. ...if you're looking for a Smartphone that's actually BIGGER then it's predecessor. Oh, I like the way they've shrunk the screen size too... NOT. Sorry Gravity and Robt. You on your own (well, maybe not on your own given the masses of other apparently insane peeps who are eagerly awaiting the 220!) EDIT: Sorry, forgot to answer the topic. I've had an E200 since November and would recommend it. Only reservation is that the next generation of Smartphone is around the corner.
Guest MECX Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 ive got an mpx200 a E100 and E200, e200 is a cool device the camera is nice and the bluetooth works great ish, but i use the MPX200 as my everyday phone keeping the E200 for developement as its to big and the battery life just doesnt cut it. E100 is a no starter since is now quite old and a comparativly slow phone (only 16mb of RAM) Havent upgraded my MPX200 to WM2003 yet but when i do i think it could possibly be the best smartphone availible at this second--stick with it. PS if your looking for signal strength the E200 wins hands down from all the devices, as your phone is useless if it cant get a signal  :P :D
