I don't understand it. I'm sitting here at noon and I took my phone off the craddle this morning at 7 when the light was green and it's already low!

Problem is, I've yet to make a phone call! What's going on? (oh and I haven't used any apps either)

It keeps doing this with either battery I have. It's like the software is not reading the battery right and I can't get the software to stop turning the phone off.

Any ideas :?:

Thanks

patrick

Hmm.. makes sense, but I can't find a "beam" under settings anywhere, could you be more specific?

Thanks

In settings under "more" there should be a folder called "Beam" in there the box for recieve incoming beams should be unticked.

Thats it basically.

Same thing happened to me a couple of days ago on my 8380, but I (soft) reset my phone, and then it has not happened since.

I have the same problem with my 8390. I don't have beam selected, but the battery barely lasts a day without much use. How do I soft reset, cause looking at the instructions is not giving much help!!

Thanks.

Maybe im wrong but i thought soft reset was taking out th phone battery? or restarting.

I use a cool lilttle app from coolsmartphone.com called quickreset, activate it and it restarts your phone.

When you soft reset your phone your just like restarting the os. Like in windows craps starts running in the background and starts pulling juice. You can kill these apps with certain programs or just turn the phone off and back on.
