Guest srg59 Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 The upper lip broke off, even with the silver clip and the battery in place, it doesn't hold the sim firmly enough against the pins for the phone to work. Has this happened to anyone else?
Guest martin Posted July 27, 2004 Report Posted July 27, 2004 Try folding up a small bit of paper and placing it between the SIM and the battery. Hopefully that should hold the SIM down :P
Guest srg59 Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 Problem solved. I was worried a piece of paper might slide around under the battery, thus making my phone unreliable. What I did was take a piece of double sided tape (the thicker foam kind) and cut off a small sliver. I pealed off one side of the tape cover and stick it to the battery in the right place to push the sim against the pins. It seems to work great, I wiggled the battery as much as I could, but the sim still stayed active.
