Require help troubleshooting http 500 activesync error

Hi,

I am hoping someone out there can assist me with this problem as it has now been ongoing for quite some time.

Using an i-mate smartphone2 2003 device, whenever I try to sync with Exchange 2003 either on the cradle or over the air I get the http_500 error.

My setup is as follows

I have 1 Exchange 2003 Server which is sitting behind an ISA 2000 server. The exchange server is published using ISA Server. I have a self created certificate installed on my ISA Server and can use OWA and OMA successfully over SSL connections. I have disabled cert checking on the i-mate. I have tried pretty much everything I can think of but the problem remains.

Can anybody either run through the various steps to get this configured correctly or point me in the direction of where I can find a more meaningful description of this error.

Please let me know if any other info is needed.

Thanks in advance.

Mark
