Guest shaggyguitarist Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 i have around 180 contact numbers on my phone. I copied them all to my sim card, so that i can transport them to other phones. I had them all on there and the sim status confirmed this showing my used and free storage. Now they seem to have disappeared, all but 4 of them, which are the 1st 4 alphabetically. I can easily restore them from the phone contacts, but I was wondering how it happend and if anyone else had experienced this? And also if there is something Im doing whichcaused it to happen. Anyone??
Guest shaggyguitarist Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 OK I have since discovered that they disappear when I turn the phone off. When it is shutting down a message saying "sim lost" appears on the top then when I turn it on again, they're gone... Is the sim card not storing them properly or is the phone not recognising them?? Kinda defeats the purpose of saving them to sim in order to transport them, when as soon as i turn off they are gone.. frustrated!!
