Guest Toyota-F1.com Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 Hello I'll try to make this short. I know that in new ROM Updates Orange improve "Bluetooth implementation". Does this mean they increase its Bluetooth range? I'm just wondering because I rarely use Bluetooth, and I was curious what is wrong with it because when I get bored in busy areas I like to find Bluetooth handsets around me!!! :P

Guest rikwebb Posted July 29, 2004 Report Posted July 29, 2004 A simpler question with a shorter answer may be: Whats right with it !!!??? 1) It has a nice blue flashy light 2) Its a quick way to run the battery dry 3) It fools everyone into thinking its bluetooth and useful Rik
Guest carlosp_uk Posted July 30, 2004 Report Posted July 30, 2004 Actually, there are more problems than this with the Bluetooth implementation following the so-called 'update' to the E200 firmware. Owners of some headsets, particularly the plantronics M3000 have found that, whilst it worked perfectly before, the new firmware actually CRASHES the headset (no, I'm not joking) about 2 minutes into the call. This happens at random, about 50% of the time, the only solution is to turn it back on and try again. There's a great many people holding their breath waiting for the next update for this to be fixed. We hope.
