hi,

i'm working on my first homescreen for my new spv200 and i tried using the rjshorcut plugin. everything works fine, but when i include the iconbgcolor on the shorcutbar definition the homescreen wont load (the waiting icon stays on screen for a while and then it will revert to the previous homescreen).

i thought i was doing something wrong but then i tried anteek homescreen, that also makes use of iconbgcolor, and the same thing happened.

anything i am skipping here?

thanks

If you're running WM2003 and a COLOR_ value, try a "#xxxxxx" value instead and see if it works.

hi RemiJ,

i am using wm2003 and i've tried using a COLOR_whatever and a #nnnnnn value as well and none works.

it is like if it wouldnt recognize the iconbgcolor attribute. have you tested the latest version of your plugin with wm2003?

thanks for the reply

I just upgraded my i600 to wm2003 which is how I discovered the COLOR_ problem in the first place. The "#nnnnnn" syntax IS working for me however.

Cut and paste the rjshortcut section from your XML into this thread and I'll take a look. Remember to check the "Disable HTML in this post" box so the < and > don't get interpreted as html.

Hmmm. When I cut and paste your XML into one of my own homescreen files everything works fine. The homescreen loads and the icon background color is red.

Something else in the homescreen XML maybe?

What happens if you remove this section. Does the homescreen load?

I can confirm I have the same problem here. If specify the iconbgcolor attribute, the homescreen will not load. That is using the "#nnnnnn" format. After I remove the attribute everything is ok.

SPVE200 with IMate WM2003
