Guest Samsonite Posted July 30, 2004 Report Posted July 30, 2004 Hello people, first time forum user so be gentle.... My SPV e200 is using the latest Orange UK ROM update and works fine.. How do i get to see system files? When i change the folder in the Multimedia Album, i can only see files on the storage card or in the phones memory. Is there a function that lets me view or even put files where i want them? Can i create new folders? lastly, i have transferred MP3's into the phone from a mates Nokia 6230. the E200 says its got the file but i cant find it anywhere!! any ideas where it's gone? thanks
Guest squall Posted July 31, 2004 Report Posted July 31, 2004 smart explorer is the solution to your problems :P it is similar to windows explorer but phone based. It also allows you to send files via bluetooth. Get it from www.binarys.com theres another very useful app on that site. the task manager. its really a must have :D
Guest Samsonite Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 thanks for that... i shall try that and let ya know... do you know if Windows Media Encoder 7.1 will transform mpegs to a SPV friendly format?
Guest Samsonite Posted August 1, 2004 Report Posted August 1, 2004 Ian Worked a treat!! I used the installer version rather than the CAB file installation cos the instructions from Binarys were for Smartphone 2002 and my E200 is 2003... Will that affect the program adversely d'ya think? I now know why they hide all the files... looking thru them on the phone is painful..... Still cant find my beamed in mp3 but i'm sure it's in there somewhere.. Cheers
