Guest ferret Posted July 31, 2004 Report Posted July 31, 2004 XP SP2 fails to load on my machine (got a dodgy prduct id apparently   ) Google for me.
Guest beersoft Posted July 31, 2004 Report Posted July 31, 2004 im a servicepack2 type of guy :P before that i used the google one
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted July 31, 2004 Report Posted July 31, 2004 The Norton one caused issues on my girlfriends PC, was a bit tempermental on jscript onclick popups. The SP2 one is as good as any other and doesnt require you to install any more software (personally i hate the yahoo/msn/google IE toolbars).
Guest siu99spj Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Avant Browsers in-built. Plus, just LOVE tabbed browsing! EDIT: And to pick up on the bit below, Avant ALSO has an Ad-Blocker. And its skinnable. And its pop-up blocker is intelligent. But getting ad-blocker is easy, just edit your HOSTS file like here: http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
Guest cyrilthefish Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 while i've previously used the SP2 and google popup blockers, i find the firefox web-browser to be the best at it :P then go and install the 'adblock' plugin for it and filter out banner adverts from webpages too :)
Guest element Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 I also like the one built into XP SP2, but I used to use MSN
Guest gvr Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 I've got MSN at the moment but its probably only until I move to SP2
