Guest beersoft Posted July 30, 2004 Report Posted July 30, 2004 hi it sounds like you don't have outlook installed if you don't get an option to select contacts/calender/inbox if you install outlook from the cd it will then sync the contacts for you later Owen
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 30, 2004 Report Posted July 30, 2004 You need to copy your contacts from your SIM to the phone first before you can sync them with Outlook. As beery said above are you using Outlook or Outlook Express as only Outlook works with Activsync.
Guest zerosignull Posted July 30, 2004 Report Posted July 30, 2004 i didnt have it installed when i originally installed active sync but i did install it earlier on today. it will let me sync my inbox but nothing else.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted July 30, 2004 Report Posted July 30, 2004 Try removing the phone and deleting the partnership then connect the phone and create a new partnership.
Guest beersoft Posted July 30, 2004 Report Posted July 30, 2004 ok, if it doesn't let you sync stuff correctly uninstall activesync reboot reinstall outlook download activesync 3.7.1 from www.microsoft.com/smartphone install activesync reboot it should work later Owen

Guest beersoft Posted July 30, 2004 Report Posted July 30, 2004 you need outlook 2000 or 2002 or 2003 to sync contacts, one version would have been provided on the cd with your phone outlook express doesn't work with active sync. later Owen
